With Coolfish Designs i will be attempting to give you just what you are looking for in a website, whether it be for your business, your club or your charity. You know your business! In fact all i propose to do is create your coporate image sincerely and truthfully on the web. My aim is to design and build your website in the shortest time possible therefore gaining quality web presence quickly and at a price thats affordable. I also, throughout the build process pay particular attention to SEO (search engine optimization) which is basically what will get you noticed and hopefully get you first page listing.(see SEO for more details).
As you will see from our PORTFOLIO all our sites comply with W3C standards and are built with CSS (casscading style sheets) (unless specified otherwise by the client) and in doing so make the site more visable to search engines and quicker to render to the browser.
Obviously as it is your web site we will need to get as much information from you as possible i.e. a complete and total overview of what your business/charity does, your ultimate aim for the website and if you already have coporate identity we will need your logo and corporate colours. If you do not have a corporate indentity already then i can work with you to come up with this also. This part is very important as usually this will follow suit through to your company headed paper and business cards.
THe following is a breakdown of the way in which we will go about giving you what you are looking for.We will aim to work with you as close to you as you like so as to come up with the look and feel that your site deserves.
Step 1:
Once we have established your corporate identity,logo's and colours etc. we will then need to know your target audience so we can structure the initial framework to cater for them. For example Keywords and Descriptions.
Step 2:
Then we will need to aquire from you any images of products and staff etc. to be used on the site along with with any introductory text which we will be using on the site.
Step 3:
The next step is for us to set about getting something tangilble built so you can have a better idea of what we are doing for you, it will be a fully functional ste and placed in our client space for you to view.
Step 4:
With this "mock up" site on screen and on line you can look over it at your leisure, give us feedback on what you do and don't like about the site. This way we can then address each point as they arrive and hammer out all the fine details. I would like to get it right first time however i am very realistic.
Step 5:
Once this is all done and we have made the changes that you have specified, whether it be text, images, colour scheme or the whole thing and you are 100% happy with what we have produced for you, it will be down to you to sign the site off and for us to upload the finished article to your web space.
