SEO or search engine optimization has been something of a dark art of recent years, however of late with growing improvements to the world wide web and the need for fully w3c compliant, well structured web pages it has become a more calculated affair. So with that in mind i begin the build of any new web site with SEO in mind. The site will be set out using CSS (casscading style sheets) which means that the basic layout for the site will be all down to one external file, so if any changes are needed to font type, navigation, colour, or just about anything layout based can be made site wide by changing just that one file.
Using this method of layout control ultimately ends up giving less bulky HTML "hypertext markup language" (the code of the world wide web), so as to make each page more visible to the search engines. Thus ending up giving higher search engine rankings.
Although i use all the above methods to acheive the highest possible ranking, i still cannot guarantee front page listing. However that is my ultimate aim for your site. This usually does not happen over night and often takes months rather than weeks and maybe a few minor adjustments to keywords (words that best describe your business/charity/site and can be incorporated fluidly in your homepage text) and home page text along the way.
Armed with all the relevant information i hope to get the results for you and your site that you expect and thats to bring as much traffic to your site as possible.
